Edvation respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and how it is protected. By accessing and using this site at www.edvation.com (the “Site”), you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. This Policy is effective as of February 11, 2014. We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time, and you are responsible for reviewing the most current version of the Policy. By continuing to use the Site, you accept all updates to this Policy.

THE SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

This Policy applies to this Site only. Edvation does not exercise control over third party sites made available through this Site or other sites that include links to this Site. These third party sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data, or solicit personal information from you. Edvation also makes available product Web sites such as www.miiquest.com, and www.pd21.com. These product sites have their own Terms of Use and Privacy policies. This Policy does not apply to those sites.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND HOW IT IS USED

Children

Edvation does not collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Requests for Information

Edvation collects information from you by asking you to provide information, such as your email address, when you register to receive correspondence. For example, visitors to this Site may register to receive Edvation marketing materials. To facilitate delivery of these materials we collect information such as first name, last name, and email address.

Automatic Data Collection

Certain other information may be collected on the Site without you actively providing the information. When you access this Site via a browser, application, or other client, our servers automatically record the page requests made. These server logs typically include your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, and the date and time of your request. Edvation uses this general statistical information about people visiting this Site in order to determine the composition of our customers and to improve and better market our products. For example, we like to know what geographical areas visitors are coming from, what browsers are being used, and what response times are being experienced.

Edvation uses Google’s Adwords conversion tracking tool. This means that if you click on an advertisement displayed as a result of a Google search, Edvation is provided with information such as the word you searched for. This facility does not communicate to us any personal information about you.

Limited Information Sharing

In the event that Edvation or law enforcement authorities have reasonable basis to suspect that a user is engaging in, or attempting to engage in illegal conduct, violations of this Agreement or other applicable Terms of Use, or misconduct, personal information may be disclosed in order to facilitate the investigation of the suspected misconduct. Outside of such events, Edvation does not share your information with any other party.

INFORMATION SECURITY

Edvation uses appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices to protect against unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration of or disclosure of personal data. These measures include organizational, physical security, and encryption to restrict access to Edvation’s employees, contractors, and agents who (i) are bound by confidentiality agreements, and (ii) require access to process the data. Edvation will delete data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.
